Mr. Mesganaw Bimrew, who is the Executive Director of Save the Nation, was an active participant as a grantee at the Bloomberg Philanthropies African Regional Meeting. At the conference, Mr. Mesganaw assumed the role of a panelist, alongside esteemed professionals such as Ms. Fetia from Road Safety Insurance Fund and Service Deputy Director, BIGRS experts from Addis Ababa, as well as delegates from Ghana, LADA, CUTS, Uganda’s Agency for Transformation and Center for Policy Analysis, African Centre for Media Excellence, Safe Way Right Way, and Ministry of Works & Transport.
The regional meeting facilitated the exchange of knowledge and implementation strategies between cities and countries, highlighting the importance of policy frameworks and opportunities to strengthen national legislation and road safety strategies.
