Haile Gebrselassie – one of track and field’s greatest Running superstar who has broken 27 world records said speed only needed for running track.

Haile Gebrselassie was very pleased when asked by Save the Nation Association to show his commitment to the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Crash Victims and he showed his support to SNS’s efforts to mitigate Road Traffic Injury in the country and asks drivers to slow down and save lives.

Haile Gebrselassie is an Ethiopian distance runner who set a number of world records throughout his career in distances ranging from the two-mile up to the marathon. He won two Olympic gold medals, both in the 10,000 meters, and racked up several major marathon victories, including four in a row at the Berlin Marathon. He also has an impressive collection of World Championship medals, both indoor and outdoor.
